Music
At Lapworth, we believe that a high-quality music education should engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. By being part of the National Plan for Music Education, we concur with their beliefs:
Our composer of the half term two-year cycle features a diverse range of male and female composers from different generations, so children can be inspired by a variety of their musical pieces.
We follow the highly successful Charanga scheme of work, a progressive, inclusive scheme from EYFS to KS2.
